About The Position

Provides physical therapy patient treatment within the established plan of care and treatment protocols and under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree; Graduate from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (Acute, outpatient, etc.).
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment interventions.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrates strong ability to use computer, Microsoft Office suite.
• Able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
