About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position at Circuit Physical Therapy involves working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide various physical therapy treatments in an outpatient clinic setting. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Associates Degree program for Physical Therapy assistants
• Eligibility for certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Proficient in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise techniques, and modalities
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
• Detail oriented with strong documentation skills
• Great interpersonal and customer skills

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility, and function
• Administer modalities on proper body mechanics and exercises for injury prevention
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records including daily SOAP notes and flow sheets
