About The Position
We’re seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll help patients improve mobility, regain function, and live safely at home.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active Virginia PTA license
- Reliable transportation for home visits
Nice To Haves
- Home health or clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome!)
- Strong communication and patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and assistive devices
- Monitor progress and report changes to the PT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
- Document care accurately per company and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
