About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will support patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence in accordance with individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the practicing state
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to patients as prescribed
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
