About The Position
Independence Rehab is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in the Shelton and Bremerton area. Requirements
- Current PTA license in good standing (WA)
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about helping the geriatric population
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred (1+ year), but new grads are welcome-we'll support your growth!
Responsibilities
- Work with a variety of patients, occasionally including those with complex medical needs
- Provide mobility and ADL re-training
- Assist with all types of transfers and safe movement techniques
- Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes
- Continue growing your skills with training and support (we'll provide competency training if needed!)
