Simpson is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join its dynamic team. The licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for implementing the plan of care as established by the Physical Therapist and the physician in a professional and competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care.

Requirements

  • Must have an Associate Degree from an accredited Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.
  • Active PA state license required.
  • At least one year experience in an outpatient or skilled nursing setting.
  • Ability to work two weekend days per month.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of code of ethics and role delineation, including guidelines for supervision.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Annual physical and TB skin test required.
  • Mandatory COVID-19 & Influenza Vaccination (unless an approved medical or religious exemption is received).

  • Knowledge of Rehab Optima.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the plan of care as established by the Physical Therapist and the physician in a professional and competent manner, upholding excellence with quality of care.
  • Plan, prepare, organize and run well-organized programs of both group and individual treatments receiving various levels of care.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Aides.
