Pleasant Hill Post Acute is seeking a high-energy, dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our top-tier in-house therapy department. In this role, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide life-changing rehabilitation: Direct Therapeutic Care: Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician and directed by the Physical Therapist to help residents regain mobility. Clinical Excellence: Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in full compliance with PT Board requirements. Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences; communicate progress and care plans effectively with the broader medical team. Education & Training: Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides and provide vital caregiver training to families to prepare them for a safe discharge. Departmental Success: Help maintain a clean, organized, and functional treatment area, reporting any equipment issues to ensure a safe environment for all. Requirements

  • A current and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.
  • A compassionate, energetic approach to geriatric rehabilitation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
