In this role, you will provide vital therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, helping patients restore function and regain independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatments according to the individualized plan of care developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and record patient responses to treatment, including strength, motor development, and functional capacity.
• Work closely with the Physical Therapist and the multidisciplinary team to suggest treatment revisions and integrate care.
• Empower patients and their families by providing instruction on home exercise programs and post-operative recovery protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records in accordance with Medicare and facility standards.
