Position Overview We're seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team serving assisted living facility in Shelton, WA. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate clinician who enjoys working with the geriatric population and values flexibility, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact. You'll work closely with our Physical Therapists to help residents improve strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily activities. Need support with any of these areas? Requirements
- Current Washington PTA license in good standing
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about working with older adults
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of SNF or assisted living experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Treat residents with varying levels of clinical complexity
- Perform and train safe transfers and mobility re-training
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per company and facility standards
