About The Position
Midtown Oaks Post Acute is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. If you’re passionate about helping patients regain mobility and independence, we’d love to meet you! Our therapy team works closely with nursing and physicians to deliver high-quality post-acute rehabilitation care in a supportive, team-focused environment. Requirements
- Active California PTA license (required)
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Casamba or PointClickCare is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Follow individualized treatment plans and physician orders
- Document daily treatments and patient progress
- Communicate with the therapy and interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in care plan meetings as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapy programs and discharge planning
- Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
