About The Position

The primary function of the Physical Therapist Assistance (PTA) is to comply with all aspects of the law of Colorado Physical Therapy Act in providing physical therapy patient services under the supervision of a physical therapist who is properly credentialed. The PTA treats according to the initial evaluation, and Plan of Care established by the Physical Therapist. The PTA provides patient treatment, follow-up evaluations, and reassesses treatment goals in consultation with staff Physical Therapist.

Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of 2 years at a physical therapist assistant school.
  • Must be graduate of Physical Therapy program accredited by the A.P.T.A.
  • Must hold current licensure by State of Colorado as a P.T.A
  • BLS Certification required.
