Located on a serene wooded campus in Ohio, we are a family-owned and operated skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional, resident-centered rehabilitation services in a warm and supportive environment. Position Summary Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled physical therapy treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Requirements

  • Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
  • Monitor and document resident progress and responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Promote safety, dignity, and individualized resident care
  • Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
