About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Long-Term Care LP Therapy LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • current state PTA license
  • knowledge of Medicare documentation
  • strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • LTC experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • carry out established plans of care
  • administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
  • assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities
  • monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist
  • fit and train patients on assistive devices
  • complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
  • collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards
