About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility in Lake Park, FL. This role is ideal for a PTA who is comfortable working in a SNF setting and focused on helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence. Requirements
- Active PTA license in the state of Florida (REQUIRED)
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) (REQUIRED)
- Strong understanding of geriatric rehab and functional mobility training
- Experience with Medicare and SNF documentation standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, and functional independence
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
