About The Position

Requirements

  • Entry-level qualifying Physical Therapy Assistant associate degree from a CAPTE accredited program.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Current Basic Life Support CPR certification.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute care hospital and clinical out-patient experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal physiology.
  • Familiarity with billing mechanisms for patient equipment and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy treatments based on the physical therapist's plan of care, focusing on PT goals.
  • Review clinical records and case histories to inform treatment decisions.
  • Attend care conferences and maintain communication with referring providers and rehabilitation professionals.
  • Document patient encounter findings and treatments according to hospital policies.
  • Provide services to both in-patient and out-patient populations in various settings as assigned.
