About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at the San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Fresno, CA. This 62-bed acute rehab hospital provides rehabilitative services to individuals recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. Our mission is to help patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities, enabling them to return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services to patients.
• Participate in treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Maintain related documentation and communication.
• Function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.
