About The Position

Requirements

• Maine State Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Treatment Plans by turning the supervising therapist's plans into actionable interventions.
• Monitor and Communicate Progress by observing and assessing patient responses to treatment, providing updates, and suggesting goal adjustments.
• Document Patient Care accurately to ensure continuity and measurable outcomes.
• Educate and Support Patients and Families by providing guidance on treatment goals and resources, and assisting with discharge planning.
• Plan for What's Next by recommending adaptive equipment and community resources for patients transitioning from therapy.
