What You’ll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) , you will: Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist. Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, coordination, and independence. Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes to the supervising therapist and physician. Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and use of assistive equipment. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current, valid Massachusetts license to practice as a PTA or OTA.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification, and TB test results.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience; home care experience preferred.
