Make a Difference—One Patient at a Time Klarus Home Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide coordinated physical therapy services to home health patients of all age groups in Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, this role offers meaningful one-on-one patient care, flexibility, and professional autonomy. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree
- Current Idaho PTA license or PT Licensure Compact (PTLC) license, as applicable
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Home health experience
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Participate in the coordination of patient care
- Implement treatment plans and document patient progress
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
