Requirements

  • Current, valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in the state of California.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a passion for helping residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment Execution: Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track resident responses to treatment and provide detailed, accurate documentation to ensure goals are being met.
  • Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Nursing, Activities, and the broader Therapy team to enhance the overall quality of life for our residents.
  • Resident Education: Instruct residents and caregivers in safe mobility techniques and specialized exercise programs to prepare for successful discharge.
