About The Position

The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to carry out Physical Therapy plan of care. Carries out Physical Therapy Plan of Care as designed by the Physical Therapist. Assists in the supervision of Rehab Aide personnel. Communicates patient progress to the Physical Therapist with regard to the Plan of Care. Document patient care in accordance with, regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an A.S. degree.
• Licensed in the State of Florida to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers.
