About The Position
Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care developed by the therapist across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric) Provide formal and informal teaching for the patient and family Understand and implement a plan of care and recognize the need for intervention by the Physical Therapist Communicate effectively both written and verbally with other healthcare personnel, the patient, family, and community members Assist patients in practicing skills in mobility and exercise
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited two year physical therapy assistant program
- Licensed as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia
- Current certification in Basic Life Support
