As a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work in the field, visiting patients in their homes in the anticipated territory of Rio Linda. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide quality patient care to help individuals live safely and productively in their home environment.

Requirements

  • License PTA in California
  • Current CPR License
  • Current CA Driver's License
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Work well independently and in a team
  • Excel at building rapport with patients and providing the highest quality of care

Nice To Haves

  • Home Health experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with high acuity patients is a plus
  • Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is highly desired
  • Case Management fundamentals is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care
  • Address the needs of individuals in their homes, so they can live safely and productively in their home environment
  • Examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
  • Work with patients to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles
