About the position

Select Physical Therapy in Menlo Park, CA is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist who is looking to take the next step in their career and advance into an operations role as Center Manager. You will be placed in Select's National Leadership Development Program which will help prepare you for taking over and managing a long standing respected clinic in the San Francisco Community. Menlo Park, CA Clinic Details: Great team environment in this clinic, beautiful open floor gym space with a lot of windows. 3 other PTs and 1 PTA. Regular 1:1 mentorship for 1 year for new grads. Easy parking and access to clinic. Close to Stanford Shopping Mall and walking distance to many great restaurants. Close to 280 freeway exit. Hours are flexible- can work 4 10 hour days or 5 8 hour days or a combination of hours to get to 40 hrs/wk. No management experience required. Will provide extensive manager training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with staff development and growth, offering clinical and non-clinical employees coaching, guidance, training, and support.
  • Assist leadership in the growth of the center and market through program and business development.
  • Support employee engagement and retention efforts by creating and fostering high levels of trust.
  • Assist with the management and resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Assist with developing strategies to increase profitability.
  • Responsible for direct patient care that promotes an exceptional patient experience.
  • Encourage development, learning, and growth that will enable clinical staff to support patients' needs.
  • Review results of outcome program measures and develop plans to improve patient care.
  • Ensure strong physician, customer, and payor relations.

Requirements

  • Must have at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or graduated from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Must possess current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of which he or she will practice.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel).
  • Ability to exhibit leadership qualities, including integrity, positivity, discernment, resilience, courage, resourcefulness, and business focus.
  • Possesses effective communication skills for accurate, concise and organized report writing and presentation of information to staff and patients.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues and actions to take in an expedient and effective manner.
