About The Position

Physical Therapy Ass#t I- Acute Rehabilitation# Description: Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care developed by the therapist across the age continuum (pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric) Provide formal and informal teaching of patient and family Understand and implement a plan of care and recognize the need for intervention by the Physical Therapist Communicate effectively both written and verbally with other healthcare personnel, the patient, family, and community members Assist patients in practicing skills in mobility and exercise What Sets Us Apart Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, four-nursing-home health system with 540 patient beds. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited two year physical therapy assistant program
Licensed as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Georgia
Current certification in Basic Life Support
