About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care at St. Joseph Hospital West is seeking a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapists to join our team in Lake St. Louis, MO! Established in 1986, SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis offers residents of western St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties exceptional health care close to home. Our 216-bed hospital is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center and specializes in obstetric and pediatric care, as well as many other specialties. Teamwork and individualized, compassionate patient care provide a basis for learning and professional development in a community hospital atmosphere. Requirements

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
  • Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
  • Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
  • Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
  • Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
