About The Position

Piedmont Rockdale, a 161-bed acute care community hospital in Conyers, has been providing compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, along with most major medical, surgical, and diagnostic services. This position involves providing physical therapy services to a designated group of patients, helping them achieve their highest level of physical independence. This includes conducting physical therapy evaluations, applying modalities, and performing treatments to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. The role requires providing patient care to all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The Physical Therapist is also responsible for overseeing the care provided by physical therapist assistants and may be involved in the orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT
Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State
Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia
BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA
