Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Security Systems or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate Video Management Systems (VMS). Such as Avigilon, Milestone, Genetech or equivalent.
  • Master level knowledge with IP video systems, network infrastructure, servers, and storage technologies.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
  • Mastery of Video Surveillance platforms, including camera configuration and server administration.
  • Master level knowledge with IP video systems, network infrastructure, servers, and storage technologies, TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, multicast, QoS
  • Design and implement physical security solutions including access control systems, badge readers, visitor management systems, CCTV/NVR platforms, and intrusion detection systems
  • Manage technology refresh cycles, upgrades, and vendor transitions for physical security infrastructure globally.

Responsibilities

  • AI Automation: Drives the most operational efficiency out of the Video platform, including servers, camera endpoints, storage, and software components. Develop automated health checks, diagnostics, and dashboard performance monitoring. Automate fleet firmware updates, software patches, and system upgrades Implement AI features on all various camera types globally.
  • Operational Support: Serve as the subject matter expert on all things AI Video. Resolve video loss, device failures, network disruptions, or system performance issues at the root cause. Improve upon the user accounts, roles, permissions, and security profiles paradigm of the Video Surveillance Platform.
  • System Optimization & Planning: Develop real time AI driven monitoring of corporate system capacity, storage utilization and performance trends. Drive system expansions, upgrades, or architectural enhancements. Take ownership of corporate wide standards for recording schedules, resolution settings, and retention policies for efficiency and compliance.
  • Security & Compliance: Lead the team to ensure the Video Surveillance environment aligns with cybersecurity best practices and organizational security standards. Drive compliance with State and Country regulations such as GDPR, CJIS, PCI, and internal policies regarding video retention and access. Manage system authentication, access controls, encryption, and audit logging. Support investigations, monitor system health, and respond to physical security incidents in coordination with security operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Author comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configuration records, inventory lists, and maintenance logs. Drive Dashboard requirements for reports on system uptime, performance, incidents, and security events. Supervise detailed camera and device inventories, including lifecycle planning.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with networking teams to validate VLAN design, bandwidth requirements, and overall network readiness. Be the focal point for global synergies between security operations teams, system integrators, and external vendors. Integrate physical security technologies with IT systems and identity management platforms to enable cyber-physical convergence
