About The Position

Allied Universal® is hiring a Physical Security Systems Engineer to support all physical security systems, including access control, CCTV operations, and dedicated alarm systems on a global scale. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The engineer will also serve as the point of contact for training users to operate the access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. Additionally, the position involves supporting the Security System team for a high-profile customer, assisting with security programs and troubleshooting globally, and working closely with Site Managers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Security Administration or IT, or relevant experience.
  • Experience with security systems management.
  • Knowledge of databases and Windows-based systems.
  • Security/IT certifications and project management experience.
  • Expertise in security systems (Access Control, CCTV, PSIM).
  • Experience with hosted security solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of network technology.
  • Experience with building monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor system health and identify issues.
  • Coordinate hardware and software changes with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain documentation for procedures, equipment, and inventory.
  • Manage security equipment and new system deployments.

  • Perform system health checks, programming, and integrations.
  • Research and recommend new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Plan and oversee security system projects.

  • Design, program, integrate, and troubleshoot security systems.
