About The Position

Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Physical Security Systems Coordinator. Under minimal supervision, this position oversees various physical and digital security systems, including but not limited to access control systems, security cameras, security video management software, digital video storage, and coordination with Event Security and 24/7 Security.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Knowledge of applicable processes, techniques, and methods in the security systems industry.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies.
  • Knowledge of application and/or operating systems
  • Skill in handling conflict in uncertain situations.
  • Skill in using computers and related software applications.
  • Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing.
  • Skill in data analysis and problem solving.
  • Skills in understanding threats and mitigation practices.
  • Skills in designing and implementing access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and video data storage.
  • Skill in documenting and maintaining complex application, process, or configuration information.
  • Skill in providing day-to-day system/application administration and/or system/application administration in support of a variety of work environments.
  • Skill in installing and maintaining applications, operating systems, or equipment.
  • Skill in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and to implement solutions.
  • Skill in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of physical security systems, which include but are not limited to access control, surveillance cameras, alarms, security video management software, digital video storage, safety management software, visitor management software, and enterprise-level security software.
  • Configures, optimized and troubleshoots all security systems’ hardware and software components.
  • Oversees security system contractors, installers, and vendors to ensure best practices in performance are met.
  • Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to enhance security best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the overall security program.
  • Ensures deployment, configuration and deployment of the back-end infrastructure supporting all security systems.
  • Continuously monitors security systems performance, proactively troubleshooting issues, and optimizes system efficiency to ensure security best practices.
  • Ensures compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and policies related to physical security systems.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Ensure installation of new specific security systems software releases, and/or upgrades, including researching, testing, and implementing new technology.
  • Provide cost analysis for current and new security systems projects.
  • Make recommendations for new security system purchases through Operating and Capital Budget planning.
  • Ensure appropriate product specifications for security systems-related projects.
  • Oversee purchase and installation of new security systems.
  • Stay up to date on the latest and greatest security system technologies.
  • Assist Event Security & Guest Services team with Event Management when needed.
  • Assist with 24-7 Security when needed.
  • Provide training for full-time and part-time employees as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
