About The Position

Responsible for administration, support, and documentation for WinCo Food’s physical security solutions, including CCTV, access control, video analytic, and other related technologies. Work closely with key business units, such as Loss Prevention and Risk Management to ensure systems are functioning properly and addressing issues.

Requirements

  • Associates in a technology or security related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years IT or Physical Security Systems experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience demonstrating considerable knowledge of CCTV, Access Control or other physical security technologies.
  • Working knowledge of design considerations for Network, CCTV, and Access Control.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of support and administration of PC, network, server, or security technologies.
  • Demonstrating familiarity with CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems, hardware and software.
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Exhibiting excellent customer service skills, working well with others and demonstrating professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions.
  • Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities while always maintaining attention to detail.
  • Be on call to respond to security incidents, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain CCTV, access control and other physical security systems across all WinCo Foods stores, distribution centers and offices.
  • Review and provided feedback on technical designs and drawings for new physical security projects such as new store builds and existing upgrades.
  • Ensure the applications and systems used meet security requirements for WinCo and industry best practice.
  • Monitor the health of physical security systems and troubleshoot alerts.
  • Set up and manager user accounts, groups and access rights.
  • Ensure CCTV equipment quality of images and recordings, validating minimum desired recording history is maintained.
  • Act as the initial point of support for tickets related to the CCTV, access control, and other systems.
  • Escalate issues to the vendor and work with them through resolution.
  • Provide training or documentation to end users.
  • Develop and perform procedures for patching, upgrading and testing system components including, DVRs/NVRs, Cameras, and client software.
  • Engage WinCo Techs or outside vendors to coordinate hands on maintenance, troubleshooting or repair.
  • Identify gaps, weaknesses, and recommend solutions to reduce risk to the company and improve current solutions.
  • Develop and document procedures for new implementations and standard troubleshooting practices.
  • Perform site visits and walkthroughs in preparation for new, or upgraded, system installs.
  • Participate in vendor review and provided recommendations for new products.
  • Stay current on new technologies and trends around CCTV and access control.
  • Perform on-call support for physical security system tickets.
  • Perform other projects and duties as needed and assigned.
