About The Position

We are seeking a Physical Security Specialist in our Broomfield, CO location to be a part of the Quantinuum Security and Technology Team implementing the overall physical security strategy for the business and promoting a culture of security. You will focus on the physical security of employees, assets, facilities, and information. You will direct, support and/or coordinate physical security operations, resources and emergency response as well as participate in improving the consistency and effectiveness of security and safety across multiple global sites. All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 1-2+ years of experience working in physical security programs required
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve site security operating procedures, including site SOPs, guard SSPOs, and emergency response procedures, ensuring alignment with the overall site security plan.
  • Respond to, document, and investigate security concerns and incidents at assigned locations, ensuring timely reporting, resolution, and escalation in accordance with policy.
  • Administer access control systems, including badge provisioning, permissions management, audits, and access reviews. Maintain proficiency in access control software platforms and approval workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
  • Monitor and evaluate guard force activities by reviewing incident reports, conducting spot checks, and identifying issues requiring escalation to supervisory leadership.
  • Oversee visitor management operations and maintain advanced proficiency in the visitor management system to ensure compliant registration, access authorization, and audit readiness.
  • Lead root cause analysis for alarm, access control, and CCTV system failures; coordinate corrective actions with vendors, IT, and facilities to restore full operational capability.
  • Deliver employee security awareness briefings and reinforce site security policies, emergency procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct physical security assessments and penetration testing activities, or coordinate third-party testing engagements, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of security hardware assets, ensuring proper lifecycle tracking, documentation, and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date security system diagrams and documentation reflecting current layouts, integrations, and configurations.
  • Support the drafting of RFPs and technical requirements for new security systems or system upgrades, contributing subject matter expertise during vendor evaluation and selection.
