Job Description: Job Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day operational and administrative activities regarding all merchandise protection programs and processes. This position will make recommendations on supplies and supplier selection. Conducts testing of new, potential products and communicates results of all pilot/test MPS projects. Creates communications for field, training, etc. This role supports all banners within TJX. Major Areas of Responsibility: Oversee the process for EAS supply ordering, new store, remodel, and relo stores. Manages weekly meetings with key suppliers in MPS space Creates and maintains supply lists, quantities and costs for all MPS supplies. Create and deliver accurate and timely communication and materials required to execute any MPS initiative and programs. Supports MPS shrink initiatives with research and beta tests of new products and technologies. Analyze and evaluate project effectiveness and if applicable, plans for application use. Maintain and promote the use of loss prevention communication vehicles including Sharepoint Team Site, TWILP and other communication tools and deliver impactful content. Make updates and enhancements to ensure accuracy, relevance, and ease of site accessibility and navigation. Validate all loss prevention materials to include training, policy & procedure, best practices, and job aids are current. Prepare updates as necessary and collaborate with cross divisional loss prevention teams to ensure consistency of execution as applicable Partner with vendors on procurement and quotes for merchandise protection supplies. Ensure supplies are current and available to order. Participate on committees to provide perspective and gather insight on initiatives and projects which require loss prevention support and involvement. Performs other duties as required. Specify the measure and size of this job’s financial responsibility sales volume: Develop administrative tracking & analysis of an estimated loss prevention annual capital budget plan Support shrink mitigation initiatives and strategies to deliver shrink reduction Describe the kinds of decisions made by the incumbent (e.g., hire/fire, technical decisions, markdowns, merchandise pricing/selection). Also, specify what recommendations are referred to the next level of management or others for approval. Identify and recommend improvements to shrink strategies Makes decisions on physical security related communications to field Coordinates MPS pushes in collaboration with Financial Control & Store Operations Analyze and review financial expense and capital budgets, purchase orders and invoices. Participate in innovation sessions to generate new ideas to drive objectives Collaborate with cross functional teams

Requirements

  • Minimum high school education, post-secondary education in Business Management, Criminal Justice, Finance, Communication, Marketing, or other like discipline.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with multiple departments and Senior Leadership as well as use multiple communication sources.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in loss prevention system and technologies, Microsoft computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
  • 2-4 years progressive experience in Retail, preferably off-price, with experience in operations, loss prevention, customer service and/or health and safety, program initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Loss Prevention Foundation LPQ or LPC certification a plus.
