Physical Security Manager (Associate) is responsible for overseeing physical security and life safety programs for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with Santander policies, regulatory standards, and local fire and life safety codes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Security management, Electronics, Technology or equivalent. - Required.
  • 5+ Years Security experience required, preferable with exposure to building technologies supporting commercial real estate and project and integrated electronic security vendor management. -Required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing vendor and solution/service providers.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities; manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees.
  • Exhibit and champion excellence in work and willingness to embrace change.
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Manages contract security staff and critical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms).
  • Develops emergency response and security plans for corporate buildings, branches, and ATMs.
  • Conducts risk assessments, inspections, and investigations related to threats, incidents, and criminal activity.
  • Serves as a key liaison with building tenants, landlords, security vendors, Santander business partners, and local law enforcement and fire departments.
  • Leads security projects, incident escalation and reporting, workplace threat response, and supports special events, VIP visits, and high-risk employee actions.
  • Drives continuous improvement of security and safety initiatives to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
