About The Position

The Physical Security & Facilities Technology Specialist will subject matter expert in the Technology Security Operations team, supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of physical security and facility technology systems. This position works closely with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations across all company sites. Focus areas include access control, surveillance, audiovisual systems, HVAC, low-voltage wiring, and power infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in physical security, facilities technology, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with systems like Entre, Genetec, Axis, Crestron, and AV technologies.
  • Familiarity with Low Voltage wiring.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and UPS power systems integration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or industry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Facilities teams to manage and support badge access systems, door controllers, and credentialing platforms.
  • Provide guidance around security systems and vendors.
  • Manage process around the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security camera systems and video management platforms.
  • Manage low-voltage wiring projects related to physical security, audiovisual (AV), and environmental systems.
  • Support video conferencing technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Webex) in meeting spaces, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Assist with HVAC and power system initiatives, including smart controls, monitoring, and alerting technologies.
  • Participate in facility buildouts, relocations, and upgrades involving physical security and technology infrastructure.
  • Manage contracts and vendor relationships across physical security, AV, HVAC, and power systems, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors supporting physical security and facility technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate physical security and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including system configurations, wiring diagrams, vendor contacts, maintenance procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for physical security, AV, HVAC, and facility-related technologies.
