Requirements

  • 2-4 years related experience.
  • Associate degree (Security or Management Information Systems) Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have valid driving privileges.
  • Occasional travel (0-5%).
  • Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business <20% per week (8 hours) and/or travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday.
  • Job may require employee to drive a company vehicle; job is non-DOT regulated, and an MVR is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology Systems, or Security Systems.
  • Physical security systems experience (access control, Video Management System, intrusion detection).
  • Experience with security systems integration, administration, and remote support.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, Power over Ethernet, Virtual Local Area Network (VLANs); Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA)).
  • Familiarity with global facility operations and smart building technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Physical Security Manager and Physical Security Systems Engineer in coordinating physical security system initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Support the department with scheduling, logistics, and configuration of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Coordinate communication with vendors and track technology upgrades for new and existing facilities.
  • Provide administrative support for the daily operations of physical security systems, including tracking service tickets and vendor responses.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and system updates with Facilities, Hospitality, and IT staff.
  • Track software licenses and warranties, coordinate firmware, and patch schedules with the appropriate teams.
  • Stay informed on basic industry updates and security technology trends.
  • Participate in internal or vendor-led training to improve knowledge of physical security tools and processes.
  • Assist in organizing timelines, meetings, and documentation for global and regional security system projects.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks with internal stakeholders and vendors during system implementation and upgrades.
  • Support basic troubleshooting tasks under the guidance of senior staff and help document any recurring issues.
  • Assist in project documentation, tracking deliverables, and organizing handover materials post-deployment.
