This position performs a variety of task duties depending on the department and assignment. Required Qualifications This is a work study position, your work study eligibility will be verified upon receipt of application. . Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC , maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College Education and Experience: High school diploma or an equivalent, and current student in good standing at LBCC . Physical Science Lab Aides should be versed in Math 095, possess basic computer skills and previous chemistry knowledge preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to operate general office equipment, including computers for word processing and Zoom for video conferencing. Abilities: Requires the ability to perform the essential responsibilities of the position under limited supervision. Must demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret staff instructions in order to assist students and support staff. Ability to follow directions, work independently, self-motivated, punctual. Excellent communication skills, methodical, neat, accurate work habits, on time task performance, and reliable. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. Physical Skills and Abilities: Varies depending on the assignment. Work Schedule varies
