About The Position
Physical Medicine Aide- WMH Inpatient Therapy- Pool/As Needed Begin your story with ProHealth Care’s Physical Therapy team. Schedule Details: Business hours range from 7-1700 with typical shift length ranging from 4-8 hours. Typical shift is 9-1500 but there is flexibility. Position is primarily weekends with a minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month. Also seeking availability on Tuesdays and Fridays. The department operates three inpatient service locations, one at each of the hospitals in Waukesha, Oconomowoc and Mukwonago. These three locations combine to complete over 2,000 inpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff cares for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and medical diagnoses. The department consists of over 55 therapists to provide rehab services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy We have nearly 5,000 dedicated clinical and non-clinical employees and physicians who work together every day to serve the health and well-being of our community. Transport patients and assist in treatments under therapist direct supervision. Perform simple maintenance tasks. Perform clerical tasks including, but not limited to, patient scheduling, ordering supplies, and data entry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed Certified Nursing Assistant program or equivalent. Equivalent may include, but is not limited to completion of PTA or OTA program.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
