Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Virginia state licensure or VCEA certification
• Alignment with the mission of Catholic education
• Experience working with children
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for physical development and student wellness

Nice To Haves

• Teaching certification or relevant experience in physical education
• Practicing Catholic or strong support of the Catholic mission

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education lessons
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits
• Create a nurturing, structured, and joyful learning environment
• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all students at all times
• Foster strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with faculty and participate in meetings, planning, and professional development
• Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily instruction and interactions
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive student engagement
