Physical Education Teacher (7-12)
About The Position
Due to an advancement within the district, Mitchell Public Schools is seeking a Physical Education teacher for grades 7-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Mitchell Jr./Sr. High serves approximately 50 students per grade level. With a strong emphasis on developing students to become strong leaders, physical education and health play an important role in that development. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for physical development including strength, agility, speed and overall fitness. Courses include Health, General Physical Education, Strength/Weights, and Lifetime Fitness. In addition to the teaching role, Mitchell has opportunities for coaching currently including Head Volleyball, Head Basketball, and a variety of Junior High coaching opportunities. The ideal candidate for Mitchell would possess the ability and willingness to coach our young athletes and instill a love for atheletics.
