About The Position

Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Physical Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Physical Education teacher plans the instructional program and teaches lessons that are both age-appropriate and address individual student needs. S/he will also work closely with Physical Education department teammates, Lower Division teachers, and the administrative team to ensure all students make progress in their physical and social-emotional development. Qualified candidates will possess 3-5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential. Candidates must show a strong willingness to receive feedback regularly, grow professionally, significantly contribute to the life of the school, and will be eager to work in a culturally and ethnically diverse environment.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education
