About The Position
The Physical Education Teacher at Hackensack Middle School is responsible for fostering a nurturing and trusting learning environment. The teacher will implement the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) in the delivery of daily academic instruction. This role involves developing learning activities and using differentiated instruction to address diverse learners and various types of learning. Collaboration with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities is essential, as well as documenting student performance using various assessments and utilizing data to inform instruction. The teacher is expected to effectively use technology in daily lessons, including gathering and managing student data as required by the district and school administrators.
