About The Position

As a Lead Physical AI Scientist in the EY Physical AI Lab, you will be instrumental in advancing our Physical AI research and development. You will leverage your deep R D expertise and drive the creation of innovative products and solutions that integrate robotics and AI across diverse industries. Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of AI and robotics technologies, including awareness of emerging trends and best practices across industries.
  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Robotics, SLAM, Digital Twin, AI/ML, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, ROS, and simulation tools.
  • Strong familiarity with NVIDIA platforms such as Omniverse, Isaac, and Cosmo.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying scalable AI systems that integrate hardware and software components.
  • An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a STEM-related field, such as Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic planning and execution for Physical AI initiatives, ensuring alignment between technology solutions and stakeholder business objectives.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on best practices for integrating software and hardware components within Physical AI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and enhance AI and robotics solutions.
  • Lead client showcases and strategy sessions to demonstrate Physical AI capabilities and value.
  • Engage with stakeholders and clients to understand business needs, delivering strategic insights and actionable recommendations for successful Physical AI adoption.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including white papers and case studies, to highlight best practices and innovative approaches in Physical AI.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $156,400 to $301,000.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $187,600 to $342,000.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
