About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrist to join our growing, integrated healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, education, and innovation. The position is outpatient-focused with a Monday-Friday schedule, and includes a 1:4 inpatient consult call during weekday clinic hours with minimal weekend engagement. The primary location is Eau Claire, WI, with secondary locations to be determined. The role focuses on general physiatry, with subspecialization opportunities available. The clinic has a high volume of procedures with a strong emphasis on EMG services and other procedural treatments. The position also offers access to advanced treatment technologies including neurotoxin and platelet-rich plasma therapy. The Physiatrist will participate in multidisciplinary clinics (e.g., amputee, wheelchair) and collaborate with a robust Physical Therapy department, professional nursing staff, and efficient scheduling support. There are also opportunities to engage in educational activities with medical students, residents, and APP staff, with strong institutional support for professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Wisconsin

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or eligibility to perform EMGs (preferred, not required)
