This position is for one (1) vacancy in the Loveland, Colorado Clinic of the Cheyenne Wyoming VA Health Care Systems as a Pain Management Physician. Start, continue, or finish your career here | Cheyenne VA Health Care System (youtube.com) This position performs the necessary standard medical procedures, including related admission, consultation, imaging, laboratory, and electro diagnostic work-up for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ailments, deficits, and disabilities in Neurologic, Neuromuscular, Musculoskeletal, Arthritic, Vascular, and Ligamentous conditions. Included within the core of privileges is the post-acute, nonsurgical management of trauma, including musculoskeletal, head, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and arthroplasties. This position evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and provides consultation to patients with physical and/or cognitive impairments and disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. Comprehensive rehabilitation management of patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputation, neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal pain syndromes, arthritis, and other joint disorders. Prescription and management of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Management of spasticity. Electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS) Interventional procedure for pain management. Prescription of DME, orthotics, and prosthetics. Medication management related to rehabilitation and pain control.
