About The Position
Oregon Medical Group/Optum is seeking a dedicated Physiatrist to join our Pain Management team in the Eugene/Springfield community. This position is designed for clinicians who prioritize patient care over volume, allowing them to take the necessary time to address each patient's unique needs. The role is primarily outpatient, with an average patient load of 20-25 per day, and operates on a 4-day work week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating mostly adult patients and will have the opportunity to perform various procedures in the clinic, depending on their training and interests. These procedures may include joint injections, trigger point injections (TPIs), manipulation, Botox administration, electromyography (EMGs), and more. We strongly prefer candidates with ultrasound-guided injection training and experience administering Botox. To support the physician, a Medical Assistant will be available to assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, managing prescription refills, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
