Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
• Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio

Nice To Haves

• Interest in aquatics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the delegation and supervision of a Physical Therapist as outlined in the Guide to Standards of Care for Physical Therapy Practice and Ohio Laws and Rules governing the profession.
• Follows the plan of care and works in consortium with the supervising therapist to achieve the goals and discharge plans established during assessments.
• The physical therapist assistant may assist in the development and participate in patient oriented programs and community educational services as well as market all services provided by the department/organization.
• The physical therapist assistant is supervised by the physical therapist for performance of direct patient care, reports directly to the Manager.
• Indirect supervision is given by the Rehab Medicine Supervisor
