The Opportunity: Keystones Warehouse team bears the ultimate responsibility of guarding the Companys most valuable physical assets. This includes the efficient and organized storage of inventory and of course, the accurate, timely and intact delivery of product to its customers. The Warehouse Team Lead- Outbound is responsible for managing the workflow for the outbound team and ensuring processes run smoothly.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in warehouse facility
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • The ability to be effective under pressure and understand when to act with a heightened sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills and use of judgement on when to use written versus verbal methods
  • Forklift certified preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to pass background check

Nice To Haves

  • High School Degree or GED preferred
  • Forklift certified preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct workflow and oversee UPS/LTL team members to manage priorities and ensure all tasks are performed timely and efficiently
  • Provide continuous training and coaching for UPS/LTL team members
  • Assist with opening and closing the warehouse
  • Contact FedEx for express pickups as needed
  • Perform daily forklift inspections in collaboration with other Team Leads
  • Manage customer pickups
  • Maintain shipping paperwork
  • Monitor packing supply levels and notify manager when purchases are needed
  • Work directly with manager to address issues or concerns
  • Assist with administration of 5S program to keep warehouse tidy and safe
  • Take initiative to identify and address improvement opportunities, and work directly with manager and other team leads to implement new processes or changes
  • Train new team members and play an active role in their development, including ongoing coaching and providing support for individuals on performance improvement plans
