About The Position
Join us as we expand our virtual learning schooling options in Texas, building upon the success of our more than 70 brick and mortar campuses across the state of Texas. Our school provides hope for students through educational options that promote a free society and cultivate moral and academic excellence. Our leadership team, our faculty and our staff are high-performing, motivated individuals who are driven to provide exceptional programs for students in the state of Texas. This position serves as the homeroom teacher and engagement specialist for assigned students. You will be responsible for monitoring holistic data for assigned students, including academic performance and engagement for students enrolled in our virtual school, and supporting students who are struggling through the collaborative creation of student academic and behavioral goals and strategies for improvement. Additionally, this position onboards new online students, acclimates families to the virtual classroom and environment by training them in the online school systems, and supports students with basic troubleshooting as needed. The Student Success Coach will hold regular virtual meetings with students to monitor progress toward goals and provide resources as needed. This position serves as the "home base" support for students, assists with state testing confirmation communication and helps with general school registrar duties during peak enrollment times.
