About The Position

Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Mental Health Technician for our PHP Department to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for the achievement of improving their mental health. The Mental Health Technician delivers quality direct patient care through a structured safe therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology preferred
• Chauffeurs license required
• One year of mental health experience or background required

Responsibilities

• Contributing as an active part of the treatment team
• Patient observation
• Patient escorts
• Providing redirection & consistency
• Patient transportation
• Assist patients throughout the day
• Responds to crisis situations appropriately
• Attends treatment team meetings as directed by the Director of Outpatient Services
